Connecting Women in Our Church Through Fellowship and Service

From Bible studies where you can dive deep into God’s Word to weekly fellowship opportunities to service groups where you can use your unique gifts for good, there’s no shortage of ways to get involved at FBC Covington.

Opportunities for Women to Build Friendships in the Church and Our Community

Our Women’s Ministry offers many opportunities for women to meet other women, enjoy fellowship, learn God’s Word, and serve in our church.

Connect Groups

Sundays at 8:15am, 9:30am, and 11:00am. Enjoy in-depth Bible study and build genuine friendships with other women in one of our women only Connect Groups.

Bible Study

Wednesdays at 10:00am (when in season). Dive into the Scriptures in a weekly Bible study with other women. Childcare is available, but registration is required.

Prayer Groups

Mondays at 9:30am, Wednesdays at 9:00am, and Thursdays at 12:00pm. Pray for our church, community, and beyond. The Thursday group is for mothers of college students, while the other two groups are open to all women. Email Pastor David Rockett, drockett@fbccov.org, for more information.

Contempo

Contempo is our women’s Missions Group. We meet quarterly or on an as-needed basis for fellowship, food, and planning future mission projects. Contact Theresa Currie (504-813-4657) or Missy Soileau (985-264-4995) to learn more.

Mondays at 9:00am for sewing and crafting and Tuesdays at 9:30am for quilting. Love to sew, quilt, or craft? Join us and use your creative talents for local and global relief aid. Contact Barb Kellar (985-630-3812 or bkellar@bellsouth.net) to learn more.

Twice a month on Fridays at 9:30am. The Vine Co. is a place for moms to meet, take a break from motherly duties, be encouraged, and feel loved. Registration required. Email thevineco@fbccov.org for more information.

Sundays and Wednesdays at 5:00pm. REFIT is a revolutionary fitness experience for women of any age, shape, size, and ability. Beginners welcome! Contact Lori Lewis (985-705-4750) to learn more.
