FAQs

Who will care for my child while I am in a Worship Service and/or a Connect Group?

Our volunteers have been provided with training, including age-level training, an understanding of our safety/security polices and a background check. This process is to provide your child with the best possible care in a secure, child-friendly environment.

How do I check-in my child?

At our Preschool Check-In desk, a trained volunteer leader will greet you and ask you to provide basic information about you and your child, including a cell phone number in case we need to contact you while your child is in our care. After the check in process, one of our volunteers will bring you and your child to the class they will be attending. If your child is still using a diaper bag, we ask that all items are labeled with their name.

What is your well-child policy?

To ensure a safe, healthy environment for our preschoolers, we follow the recommendations of the Committee on Control of Infectious Diseases of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

A child should not be brought to church if any of the following symptoms exists:

  • Fever within the last 48 hours
  • Vomiting or diarrhea within the last 48 hours
  • Symptoms of any childhood diseases
  • Common Cold - from onset through one week
  • Sore throat
  • Croup
  • Any unexplainable rash
  • Any skin infections - ringworm, impetigo, etc.
  • Any eye infections - pink eye being the most common
  • Green, runny nose
  • Any communicable disease

We ask that children be free of symptoms for 48 hours before coming back to church. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep our FBCCov preschool program a healthy place.
