Make new friends, stay physically active, and enjoy the outdoors by joining a sports or outdoors ministry at FBC! We strive to offer a positive environment, Godly mentorship, and recreation with friendly competition for those in our community.
Opportunities for Children and Adults to Have Fun and Be Active
We have a number of sports leagues throughout the year for people of all ages. We have outdoor adventure and mentorship troops for both girls and boys that accept new members each August.
Upward Flag Football
September–November. Ages K–8th grade. Coed. Practice is one night a week, and games are held on Saturday mornings between 9 and noon.
Upward Cheerleading
September–November. Ages K–6th grade. Girls. Practice is one night a week, and games are held on Saturday mornings between 9 and noon.
Upward Soccer
March–May. Ages 4–7th grade. Coed. Practice is one night a week, and games are held on Saturday mornings between 9 and noon.
Upward Volleyball Clinics
Spring. Ages 4th–8th grade. Coed. A 5-week open clinic that focuses on skill development, fun, and faith.
Men's Softball League
TBD. More details to come.
Men's Cornhole League
Spring and Fall. Men. We meet for six weeks in the spring and fall on Monday nights for fun, fellowship, and cornhole.
American Heritage Girls
American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 5 to 18 years of age. AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.
Trail Life is a Christ-centered, boy-focused adventure program that exists to guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure. Fathers and Mentors walk alongside boys and encourage them to Walk Worthy of a life pleasing to the Lord.
