Mission

The Samaritan Center, a Christian organization based in West St. Tammany Parish, provides compassionate emergency assistance to individuals and families in need. Guided by faith and a commitment to serve, the organization offers vital support to help community members on their journey toward self-sufficiency.

Services Provided

The Samaritan Center meets critical needs in the community by offering:

• Food Assistance: Providing emergency food supplies to those facing hunger.
• Limited Support: Offering assistance with utilities, rent/mortgage, transportation, and medications in select circumstances.

In partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank, a Feeding America member serving South Louisiana, The Samaritan Center delivers essential resources to those in crisis.
