Lynhaven Retreat

Mission

The Lynhaven Retreat, a cornerstone of the New Orleans Mission, offers a sanctuary for women overcoming sexual abuse, human trafficking, addiction, or homelessness. This Christ-centered haven fosters rescue, recovery, reengagement, and family reunification, providing a safe and nurturing environment for healing and transformation.

Opportunities to Make a Difference

The Retreat invites the community to get involved through volunteering. Interested individuals and Connect Groups volunteer in:

• Ministry Volunteers: Participate in chapel services, worship services, outreach projects, etc.
• Campus Beautification Projects: cleaning, painting, gardening, landscaping, lawn care, or window cleaning.
• Food Pantry Distribution: providing food to those experiencing food insecurity in St. Tammany Parish.
• Event Volunteers

As you volunteer the ladies will be encouraged to witness your faith being exercised in practical ways.
