India Church Partnerships: Standing with Our Brothers and Sisters in Faith

We have a vital opportunity to support our partners in Southern Asia as they face significant hardship and persecution. Due to the challenging political and religious climate in their region, our ability to connect with them has been impacted. Yet, we can remain steadfast in prayer, lifting up their courageous evangelistic efforts amid opposition, including violent attacks. One of our partners has shared specific prayer requests to guide us:

• Gospel Outreach: Pray for the spread of the Gospel in villages and cities across their region, where a dedicated team of pastors is working tirelessly to share Christ’s love and establish new churches in unreached areas.
• Equipping Believers: Ask God to empower the training of believers, enabling them to boldly share their faith within their communities and with their neighbors.
• Vacation Bible Schools: Lift up seasonal Vacation Bible Schools, that they may thrive and reach children with the hope of Jesus.
• Strength Amid Persecution: Intercede for pastors and believers enduring severe persecution and emotional distress, seeking God’s peace and resilience for them.
• Protection During Worship: Pray for safety every day, especially on Sundays, when many pastors and believers face attacks, beatings, or imprisonment for holding worship services. In numerous villages and cities, these gatherings are banned.
• Health and Resilience: Ask for protection from illness caused by seasonal weather changes, such as heavy rain and extreme heat.
• Safety for Families: Pray for the families of believers and pastors, that they may be shielded as they stand firm in their faith and witness for Christ.
• Transformation of Hearts: Beseech God to touch the lives of political leaders and those persecuting the church, that they may encounter Jesus and come to faith.
• God’s Glory: Above all, pray that God’s name be glorified through these trials, as His light shines brightly in the darkness.
