Giving Hope Retreat

Learn More About this Partnership

Mission

The Giving Hope Retreat, a vital part of the New Orleans Mission, serves as a sanctuary for men facing homelessness, drug addiction, or alcohol dependency. The retreat houses up to 90 men and offers a free 12-month program designed to empower individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope through Jesus Christ.

Opportunities to Make a Difference

The Retreat invites the community to get involved through volunteering. Interested individuals and Connect Groups volunteer in:

  • Ministry Volunteers: Participate in chapel services, worship services, outreach projects, etc.
  • Campus Beautification Projects: cleaning, painting, gardening, landscaping, lawn care, or window cleaning.
  • Food Pantry Distribution: providing food to those experiencing food insecurity in St. Tammany Parish.
  • Event Volunteers

As you volunteer the men will be encouraged witnessing your faith being exercised in practical ways.
